New Travel Trends
Does this sound like a common thought for you ….well I have to work from home, my kids have to attend school from home, we can do this just about anywhere…..Why not do a #workcation? Then we can enjoy a destination on the off hours, have a gorgeous view on the other side of your laptop and gorgeous weather. This is one of the new travel trends.
#Workcation
Hotels and resorts are also responding to these new travel trends in the US and Caribbean, inviting people to work remotely from their locations. Some have extended stay opportunities, and I heard from a colleague some even offering childcare. It’s 5 o’clock somewhere just took on a new meaning. Close the laptop and the pool service is already bringing you a drink and fixing your umbrella.
US Travel
The next hottest new travel trend I am seeing is a massive spike in US travel. Time to explore the National Parks, dude ranches, glamping and road trips. Did you know (maybe from one of my previous blog posts) that some of the dude ranches are even all inclusive. Who knew?
Private Villa
As we get closer to the seasons changing, and the weather gets cooler, people are starting to investigate the mountains (still good for social distancing) and private villas. Maybe you always wanted to learn to ski. Now is the perfect opportunity but plan ahead as people have been reserving these for months and the inventory is low! Living in Colorado, I can attest to the beauty of Vail, Aspen, and many other ski towns.
Everyone is handling this pandemic differently. Some still want to travel. Others want to stay home. And then, others want to explore the traveling options with more opportunities for social distancing and outdoor experiences.
