NAPA VALLEY NEVER DISAPPOINTS

Napa Valley Never Disappoints

Napa Valley is one of the most storied locations for wine in all of the United States. It has supplied wine all around the country and you have likely had a taste from there. However, visiting the region is a completely different matter. With this guide, you’ll know exactly how to see the best of the valley. Remember: Napa Valley never disappoints.

Tour On A Train

One of the options that you have to tour the entire region is on board the Napa Valley Wine Train. This train takes you on a 3-hour journey from Napa in the south to northern St. Helena and back. This luxurious train allows you to see plenty of vineyards and has chefs onboard making meals to order. The railroad has been operating since 1864, so a history of tourism will travel with you while you ride.

St. Helena Keeps Your Interest

St. Helena is the oldest winemaking region in Napa County, with the Beringer Vineyards opening in 1879 (and remaining open). You can explore wineries like this or you can visit nearby restaurants and tasting rooms. Tasting rooms like the Clif Family and Gary’s Napa Valley give you a hint of the region. Then if you like that, you can sit down at restaurants like Tra Vigne Pizzeria and Restaurant, Harvest Table, or the Gatehouse Restaurant.

Napa City Is Where You’ll Find The Activity

Napa is the bigger city of the region, though it certainly isn’t NYC or LA. Once again, there are more tasting rooms and restaurants dotted around the city. However, there are also a variety of luxury resorts and spas offering all the activities you could want. If you want some pieces of Napa to take home, Oxbow Public Market offers fresh local produce for your consumption.

Plenty Of Alternative Experiences

Perhaps you aren’t interested in tasting every wine in the valley or you’re bringing kids along. Then should you simply not go? Absolutely not. Wine is most certainly the main focus of the region, but there are other experiences in the valley. Visit the Castello di Amorosa to get a peek at one of America’s castles.

Take a kayaking trip down the (creatively named) Napa River or even ride a gondola around Napa. Get a Venetian to feel a world away! Last, but most certainly not least, you can experience a hot air balloon ride through the morning skies. With a cool temperature and calm winds, you’ll get to see the entire region looking like a painting down below.

There’s a reason that Napa Valley is one of those regions that so many know about and want to visit. It is a realm of luxury and wine, with plenty of other features to keep you entertained. You can see the entire region in one glance via a train or spend plenty of time in each city. Regardless of which one you do, you’re sure to enjoy your time in Napa Valley. You can start here or by emailing here. I look forward to assisting in your Napa Valley experience.
