Las Ventanas al Paraiso Review
Las Ventanas al Paraiso Review – During my trip to Los Cabos in October 2020, I had the privilege to do site inspections of several of the luxurious properties that are available on the desert coastline in Los Cabos. Last week I reviewed the Grand Velas Los Cabos, which was very contemporary and modern feeling. Today, I am going to review a more “authentic” feeling resort, Las Ventanas al Paraiso, a Rosewood Resort.
Luxury in the Desert
Firstly, this resort takes luxury and pampering seriously. Las Ventanas is a pet friendly, kid friendly resort, designed to be in harmony with its surroundings, right down to the landscape and colors chosen. The dramatic coastline is awe inspiring, albeit, not for swimming since there is a very strong undercurrent here.
Covid-19 Protocols
As with all the properties I visited in Mexico, the protocols and procedures were in place. Upon arrival to the resort, the gel mats were in place, as well as employees to offer up the sanitizing gel for your hands with a nice cool towel and cold water. All the employees wore masks on the resort. Sanitizing stations were setup throughout the resort.
Suites and Villas
At Las Ventanas you can choose from suites or villas to residences which range in size from 960 sq feet (Junior Suites) to the expansive Ty Warner beachfront mansion which is 28,000 sq feet. There are 84 suites and villas on the property. The villas feature hand carved furniture and private infinity edged pools. For longer stays at Las Ventanas, there are 1-to-3-bedroom luxury residences as well.
Dining
Enjoy spectacular views while dining at El Restaurante, where you can enjoy a modern interpretation on traditional Mexican cuisine. There are 5 restaurants to enjoy on property from Mexican to Asian and more. There is a speakeasy bar that was influenced from the 1920s Prohibition era. At La Botica, you can enjoy nightly entertainment as well as signature cocktails.
And let’s not forget about….
The spectacular spa gives off tranquility and peace in the authentic surroundings. This resort takes a holistic approach and includes yoga and Pilates as well. There are several signature golf courses surrounding the property as well. Jack Nicklaus Signature Ocean Course is one of the 3 you could play a round on. As well, there are beautiful spaces for a wedding or a group event. There are many more activities on site as well to enjoy.
While not an all-inclusive resort, my affiliation with Virtuoso allows me to provide a few perks, such as free breakfast for two (per bedroom), complimentary Wi-Fi, early check-in/late check-out, room upgrade (upon availability), $100 Spa credit, and Oasis Margarita & Taco Sampler Experience from Taqueria.
If an authentic, luxury experience is what you are dreaming of for a trip to Los Cabos, then this luxury property might be a great choice! If you are interested in a vacation in this amazing resort, just click HERE and set up a consultation and let’s talk.
