MAKE SOMEONE’S DAY

I just boarded flight to Vegas for a conference, Virtuoso Travel Week. I am excited to be spend the week meeting new colleagues and partners in the travel industry. It will be a crazy busy week, but worth every minute of it. But while I was boarding, I was reminded that this is a service industry. With all things covid, its been easily forgotten that its okay to be nice to people, to be social, etc. Today’s post is going to be about how we can Make Someone’s Day.

READY FOR THE REOPENING?

We have all been close to home, not traveling abroad as frequently as in the past, and it’s easy to let our passports expire. As the demand rises for international travel its certainly a good time to start thinking (or to check) if your passport has expired! Ready for the reopening?
I have had a couple of clients book their trips and then look and see that their passports are expired. Most countries require that your passport is valid for at least 3 months past your return date (some for 6 months past return date). Our passports are our key to unlocking fascinating destinations.

Grand Velas Los Cabos is a 5 Star Luxury all inclusive Virtuoso property in the corridor between San Jose and Cabo San Lucas. Only 4 years old, it exudes a contemporary warmth with classy details. I visited this property for a site inspection in October, 2020. Top of mind for all was whether they were adhering to the covid protocols and what steps were being taken to ensure the guests safety and procedures.
