AFRICA’S GOLDEN TREASURE: GHANA

The country of Ghana holds a special place in my heart – my family, my childhood, and my culture stems from this beautiful country. While I was the only one in my family born in the United States, I was fully raised surrounded by Ghanian culture and customs. I love that I’m from a country that has beautiful music, amazing food, funny stories, and a rich important history of Pan-Africanism. Today, I’d like to share with all of you Africa’s Golden Treasure: Ghana (and my own as well).

A JAPANESE DREAM VACATION

I’ve always been fascinated with Japan and its beautiful culture. From its language and native tongues, to its traditions and customs, Japanese culture presented an awe inspiring way of life that put it at the forefront of my bucket list. I began studying the Japanese language and culture in middle school and all throughout high school. While I haven’t continued my formal studies in university, I do continue to stay fascinated by all things Japanese. A WEST COAST WEEKEND

While destination vacations and bucket-list adventures are always wanted and enjoyed, sometimes, we all need a quick getaway for a weekend; I know I did! Covid test positive

TESTED POSITIVE

Well – the dreaded result. It has finally happened that I now know what it means to test positive in destination and not being able to return home. I went to Europe on an almost 3-week adventure to Italy, then the United Kingdom, both on work and pleasure! I tested before leaving the United States for Italy. It was a wonderful time in country and then I traveled along to London. Well, London has removed all restrictions and I didn’t have to test to enter the country. My family came, we had a lovely “personal” vacation before starting my next “work” trip in London. The family went home and then I got a cold. Of course, I then tested and lo and behold more than 2 years into this “COVID” situation and …. Tested positive – now what?

Mask or no mask

Mask Or No Mask

That is the question.  A judge recently overturned the mask mandate!
