In the travel industry, we are in the Wave Season, so what does it mean to catch the wave?
Now that the holidays are over, people are ready to get their vacation nailed down for the season so that they have something to look forward to during the winter months. They also need to get their vacation time scheduled off for work, so that they get the best dates for their trip. If you have restrictions to dates, such as school, events, it’s imperative to get your dates in early to ensure the best outcome. This leads to a “wave” of vacation inquiries that happen in the first quarter of the year. If you don’t jump in early, you might not get the cabin you were hoping for on the dream cruise, or that special safari camp that only has 10 spots, the best restaurant might not have any reservations open in that quaint village.
