CARIBBEAN WINTER ESCAPE

This winter is going to be a different experience for everyone- especially those used to taking a winter vacation. COVID-19 has shut down many of the paths and destinations that we’ve become used to over the years. Fortunately, not every vacation spot has been closed. The sunshine and beaches of Caribbean destinations continue to be open, albeit with safety restrictions in place. So let’s take a look at some of these islands and continue on to The Caribbean Winter Escape!

GRAND VELAS LOS CABOS REVIEW

Grand Velas Los Cabos is a 5 Star Luxury all inclusive Virtuoso property in the corridor between San Jose and Cabo San Lucas. Only 4 years old, it exudes a contemporary warmth with classy details. I visited this property for a site inspection in October, 2020. Top of mind for all was whether they were adhering to the covid protocols and what steps were being taken to ensure the guests safety and procedures.

HIGHLAND HIKING ADVENTURE

Scottish Highlands

Some of the most traveled spots in Europe happen to be in the cities like Rome, Paris and London. While this makes for a pleasant urban experience, it can also lead to a much more crowded one. For those who are looking to get out of these spaces and see something different, there’s a perfect land far to the north of Big Ben. By going on a Scottish Highland Hiking Adventure, you too can see what these wild lands can offer!

SUMPTUOUS SOUTHERN FRANCE

While Paris and Orleans might catch the eye of most who are travelling to France, one of the true gems of travel comes from the southern reaches of the country. Here the coasts shine brightly, the wine flows freely and the people are generally more cheerful than the capital. Whether it’s Acquitaine, Provence, or the French Riviera, you can’t go wrong with Sumptuous Southern France.

THE MIGHTY MOZAMBIQUE EXPEDITION

Mozambique

Many visitors to the southern region of Africa tend to focus on South Africa while ignoring the surrounding countries. However, this means that they are missing out on many magnificent locations and experiences. One of these is the Mighty Mozambique Expedition.

ROMANTIC GETAWAYS ACROSS THE US

New Orleans

The global travel market is a bit of a mess at the moment, but that doesn’t stop the national travel. There’s still plenty of places to explore in the United States that would provide a boost of romance for any couple. Let’s explore romantic getaways across the US.

BUCKET LIST TRIPS

Lions of Africa

Bucket list trips are often dreamed about for years. I’ve always dreamed of traveling the world over. Seeing and experiencing different cultures, culinary delights, historical sites, meeting people from different places.

SHARE THE EXPERIENCE

Relaxing on the beach lounger, book in hand watching the grandchildren play in the sand. Their parents are soaking in the infinity pool looking relaxed. Share the experience of family travel with the entire family. Make new memories that everyone will cherish for a lifetime. Embark on a new authentic cultural experience together and learn about the traditions of the location. Learn the drums of Reggae perhaps.

NEW TRAVEL TRENDS

#workcation

Does this sound like a common thought for you ….well I have to work from home, my kids have to attend school from home, we can do this just about anywhere…..Why not do a #workcation? Then we can enjoy a destination on the off hours, have a gorgeous view on the other side of your laptop and gorgeous weather. This is one of the new travel trends.

AIRLINE CHANGE FEES

airline change fees

Hurray, the airlines are cancelling the change fees on flights. Sounds fantastic right? But are there loopholes in this? Prior to the pandemic Southwest was the only US airline that didn’t charge change fees. Most of the airlines charged $200 for domestic flights when changing nonrefundable tickets on top of the price difference for the new tickets.
